I first came here for a few days planning to come back to my previous hostel, but I found this place so nice and quiet that I decided to stay longer. Kathy makes me feel protected y secure, she's been taking care of me for the last two weeks. This place is perfect for bussiness people,. It definetly feels like home. Thanks is the only word that last. Thank you Kathy, I love you!

Crocodhouse is a great budget place to stay in Fort Lauderdale! It is very clean, great A/C, spacious kitchen. I was lucky that there weren't too many people around and in the rooms, so there was enough space for us all. Wifi had strong connection (so good for some remote work calls) and check-in was very easy (host texted/emailed the codes, so for international travelers make sure you connect to wifi or have a data plan to receive the info). William was a friendly house manager, and the location was walkable to the sights in the area. Would definitely stay here again - it's the only hostel in FLL that has good reviews and is an agreeable place to stay, a really great value for the price!

This was my first time staying at a hostel, and I got to say it exceeding my expectations. Very comfortable and warm and inviting. Also got to mentioned the free coffee in the morning is the best. It probably been the best night of sleep I got in a while since it was so quiet

I just got back from Crocodhouse. I highly recommend this place. I can say that “value for money! “ I stayed for two nights and chosen a shared room. There were two cabin beds. Since I got up early, sharing the bathroom with others wasn’t an issue. BTW, there are two bathrooms. The room, kitchen, bed sheet, pillows, towel were provided and clean. I felt quite safe and was easy to move around from Crocodhouse. It only takes 10 minutes from the airport, +\-$20. As far as I concern, it was way better that what I expected. I saw a couple of female and mature guests. (Not college student party atmosphere) Yes, I will definitely stay there again! P.S: the check in was super easy with the smart lock system. The owner is a gentleman who explains patiently about everything what you may need to know. The room temperature was perfect, not too cold nor hot at all.

First of all, I want to say that I appreciate the price however they need to tell you there is a Senior Living live person that is monitoring the property.. I’m all for supporting people of age however I did not feel comfortable with someone sleeping next-door to me that monitors everything I do which is kind of creepy. I have to even lock my door at night, not saying that he was not safe, but I don’t don’t know him.. furthermore, I’m a young gay man that wanna have young gay experience and this is not the place if you want to invite anybody!!!

· My experience of the place was completely Excellent! First the manager of the place - William An elderly man who makes an effort to maintain his place in the best possible way, from my arrival to my departure I received only kindness and respect from him. I stayed in a room with another one person only, the bed was clean and tidy, there was excellent WIFI, a shower with hot water, lockers for storing belongings. There is a kitchen equipped with utensils with a large refrigerator for storing food. There is a private garden to sit in especially in the evening when the heat drops and it has a good atmosphere! The place is not a regular hostel, more of a homely feeling! Within a 2-minute walk there are shops and fast food restaurants that were open 24 hours a day which is a big advantage! There are also buses to the entire area so it was very convenient to travel without much walking. In conclusion I highly recommend and I really think that some of the previous comments may have been written by negative people or those who thought of getting a luxury hotel for the price of a hostel 😂

My VRBO Reservation was for a non-existant venue. I lucked out and found Crocodhouse only 2 blocks from my proposed VRBO location. The hostel was clean with hot showers and clean bedding. Nice social area and a gated entrance to the venue. Many restaurants and bars within a short walk of hostel. I felt safe walking around alone at night. I would stay there again.
